MT Fase arrested on 11/17/08

  • Plaintiffs initially used USMS as custodian (using guard service at entrance to accommodation ladder)
  • NMS called in January 2009 to resolve crew, provisions, fuel, U.S. Customs issues.
  • NMS appointed custodian on January 10, 2009
  • NMS handled offload operations as directed by the court for bio-diesel fuel (required movement of vessel to offload facility and back to berth)
  • NMS handled medical, pay, repatriation, provisions, fuel, crew manning and viewings of vessel.

Sale of M/T Fase IMO No. 9291066 Official No. 12358, will be sold by the United States Marshal to the highest bidder, free of all claims, at public auction on May 5, 2009, at the office of the United States Marshal, United States Courthouse, 515 Rusk Avenue, Houston, Texas 77002.
